I have a chem midterm in 40 minutes. I think I'm ready.

I noticed last night then when I have my headphones on, and a noisy bus or car is nearby, the music gets quieter. not just harder to hear, but quieter. a comfortable listening level when in the bus hurts when I get out and it's quite around me again. is this temporary deafness? am I doing my ears terrible damage by listening to music at a comfortable level on the bus?

I need a job. tim hortons doesn't give me shifts any more, and I assume they're never going to fire me. they'll just keep on not giving me any shifts forever. those jerks. I need the money. should update my resume.

I have a chem midterm in 20 minutes. I will need to tear myself away from reading the chap. it's just as well that most of their material is only available in literary format, and that I lack such a subscription. The material, while illuminating on matters of etiquette, is far too interesting to put down easily when I find myself in a situation requiring it.
