I'm not old enough for nostalgia, but I am old enough that I can think back to a time when brian adams was popular with the young folks. wow. on the same sunny day I'm remembering, my neighbour had a green day shirt on. I'm not sure if it was for the band or the annual occasion celebrating the ecosphere.

I'm very, very ill. I spend about 20 of the 24 hours of yesterday in bed, under blankets, alternating between shivering heavily and sweating heavily, and between clothed including a sweater and naked, in a failed attempt to counteract my fever.

I feel better today, but I'm still constantly blowing my nose and hacking, and my sore throat still hurts. that swallowing icecubes idea of jasmines is surprisingly effective.

in other news, andrew, I doubt I'll be up to any drinking this weekend. I'm all for listening to eric clapton while in the hot tub, but booze isn't good for someone this sick.

and are there any cures for having no immune system? aside from being heavily drugged 24/7, I mean? because that'd be nifty.

on the topic of my life at large: university is going well, finances are poor but not desperate (jasmine, good luck), and love life is fantastic, as one person relationships go. my multiple personalities find each other strangely attractive.

good luck with your lives, everyone. see you in tuscany some day.

hey murray,
there is nothing to be done for a non existent immune system.I found this out the hard way. However being heavily sedated and taking opium derivatives 24/7 makes the going not so tough.I haven't been off drugs sice about 1999,its been a good time.

also,if you miss the days when bryan adams could be heard playing from those large boomboxes that the kiddies carried around on one shoulder,I will give you insight on why this is not in practice anymore. You see,my friend the bryan man used to sing songs about finding the hero within yourself, the good old days of porch swings and a year that made everyone giggle because it was also the name of a well loved sexual position.I don't see this happening anymore with his music, and frankly I'm quite disappointed.it could have been beautiful bryan,it could have.
